The UNI-KIT is a durable lighting system providing extended lighting hours. Simple plug-in connections make it easy to install. A basic power controller manages the system making it easy to use. This versatile system can also power a 12 volt radio or TV.

The prewired UNI-SOLAR solar electric module converts sunlight to electricity, charging batteries during the daytime for lighting use at night. It is lightweight and durable. There are no glass or crystalline components to break or shatter.

The unique structure of the UNI-SOLAR module enables it to keep on charging even on overcast days or when partially covered by shade.

UNI-SOLAR portable folding solar chargers convert sunlight into electricity using United Solar Systems Corp. unique Triple Junction Technology. UNI-PAC portable chargers are extremely rugged, and their unique design makes them easy to carry and deploy.

The tough nylon fabric covering of the UNI-PAC allows the unit to be folded to a convenient book size, for easy storage and transport.

Designed to meet military requirements for durability, performance, and reliability, the UNI-PAC features a strong, long-lasting front cover made of Tefzel® (by DuPont). ndividual solar laminates contain by-pass diodes, making the UNI-PAC solar chargers tolerant of severe shadow or partial covering.

The UNI-PAC 10 offers dual voltage charging for 12v and24v, the UNI-PAC 15 and the UNI-PAC 30 are for 12v charging.

Solar Battery Charger

Each UNI-SOLAR solar battery charger utilizes United Solar's proprietary Triple Junction silicon solar cells. These cells are made in a roll to roll deposition process on a continuous roll of stainless steel sheet metal. The result is a unique, flexible, light-weight cell.

The vinyl and foam modules are exceptionally durable. They are encapsulated in UV stabilized polymers and bonded and stitched to a cushioned backing material. The polymer encapsulation includes EVA and fluoropolymer Tefzel®, a DuPont film.

Bypass diodes are connected across each cell, allowing the modules (excluding USF-5) to produce power even when partially shaded. Blocking diodes are included withing each potted junction box. A blocking diode prevents battery discharge into the module. Each panel has 8 feet of tinned wire with 2-pin SAE connector, and is packaged with a 2-foot fused battery cable.
