Ohio Solar Tours set attendance records for 5th straight year!

Congratulations to Green Energy Ohio (GEO) who coordinated the annual event in October 2007 in cooperation with the American Solar Energy Society's National Solar Tour. The annual solar tours have become the largest demonstration of installed renewable energy technologies and energy efficient building practices in the United States.

Renewable energy-powered and energy efficient homes and buildings in Ohio were shown on 30 guided public tours and open house sites across the state. Attendees learned how their neighbors are trimming their energy bills, increasing their energy independence and taking steps to address global warming. More than 5,000 people attended the Ohio tours last year.

You can find tour details and download the Regional Solar Tour Guidebooks for all the sites that were on last year's tours at Green Energy Ohio Solar Tour.

We encourage you to attend
